Nov 1st to the 6th -- a moderate storm for the Elections.
Nov 7th to the 11th -- the energies are breaking up.
Nov 12th to the 15th -- a weak, chaotic transition period.
Nov 16th to the 20th -- getting ready for the next storm.
Nov 21st to the end of the month -- the most powerful storm of 2012!
An online ephemeris for the month is available. Check Current Transits, too.
November is a contrast of highs and lows. The storm during the last week is easily the most potent planetary pattern we've seen all year. The lesser storm during the first week is no slouch either. In between, there's a long, meandering energy that lacks direction and "oomph!". As always, watch the outer planets. Saturn is moving deeper into Scorpio and joining up with Uranus, Chiron and Pluto, leaving Neptune to its own devices. In other words, the split between two competing groups of outer planets that has been the norm for many months is much less prominent now -- the outer planets are speaking with a united voice more than they have in a very long time. This probably accounts for why the last storm is so strong. Anyway, I see 5 distinct energy patterns in November.
Nov 1st to the 6th |
The 1st to the 6th is a moderate, but influential storm. The waveform varies in strength from 347 to 487 units, an intensity level that is useful without being overwhelming. The harmonics are a mixture of H12, H6, H24 and H48 -- generally constructive, but with a stressful undercurrent. The energies are mostly focused at 4-7 and 18 degrees of each zodiac sign -- see where this hits your own natal chart. This time is a continuation of the messy storm at the end of October. There's a T-square of Venus, Uranus and Pluto between the 1st and the 3rd which seems to call the shots for the energies now. It's likely to hit as an emotional roller coaster ride that disrupts your inner equilibrium and stirs up relationships. Mercury is connected with Neptune and Saturn, clouding thinking processes. Of course, Mercury is also traveling quite slowly now, going retrograde on the 6th while polling places are still open -- Tuesday night could be long and messy before election results settle down.
Nov 7th to the 11th |
The 7th to the 11th is the period when this first storm slowly falls apart. The waveform cools off slightly, down to 326 to 461 unit levels. The harmonics are H48, H24, H12 and some noise -- the more difficult frequencies are coming to the fore. The energies are concentrated around 3-5 and 15 degrees. There's not much going on as the storm collapses, so I'd be busy wrapping up old business. Perhaps the most active planets are Neptune and Venus, giving a vague moodiness to this time, especially when Neptune is standing still on the 11th. Muddle through.
Nov 12th to the 15th |
The 12th to the 15th is a transition period when the energies become totally disorganized. The waveform is between 315 and 407 units most of the time, although it hits 440 on one occasion -- the energies are on life support. The harmonics consist of a fat H12, lots of H48 and some H24 -- mostly scattered and disruptive energies. What little focus there is tends to fall at 3-6, 28-30 and 21-23 degrees of each sign. Given the noisiness of this period, there's a surprising amount of activity going on. The most noticeable is the solar eclipse on the 13th, which tends to stir things up for quite some time. Mercury backs up from Sagittarius into Scorpio on the 14th, so the thinking mind is unstable. The "big aspects" between Saturn, Chiron and Uranus are kicking in, so stuff you consider God given foundations of life are being challenged. Despite normal transition period rules, this is probably not a time to sit back and get some R&R -- we may be too busy for that. Don't get bogged down with small stuff.
Nov 16th to the 20th |
The 16th to the 20th is a weak and ragged pre-storm, a time when the energies are just starting to get organized once again. The waveform picks up a little, hitting the 324 to 468 unit region -- pretty moderate. The harmonics are mostly a fat H12, H48, H6 and some noise -- getting positive again, but the road can be rocky at times. The emphasized areas are 23-25, 4-6 and 28-30 degrees of each sign. Mercury is triggering the Uranus-Pluto square during this time, setting the stage for the big storm coming up. Mars enters Capricorn on the 16th, headed for a dangerous conjunction with Pluto. Aspects between these two are often a "stay out of dark alleys" influence, when the darker side of our nature comes out passionately, even in violence. Just be careful, if you know what I mean, and try to put these powerful forces to good use.
Nov 21st to the end of the month |
The 21st to the end of the month is the big storm. The waveform varies widely in strength from a wimpy 399 units at the beginning to a towering Koz Quake of 616 units on the 25th. The harmonics are H6, H12 and H24 -- mostly constructive, but overwhelming at times. The focal degrees tend to drift (due to the motions of the faster planets) during this time, with peaks that move from 4 to 9 degrees and 18 to 25 degrees -- your chances of getting hit are high. There's a bit of that Neptune moodiness in the air around the 22nd, as Sun and Venus connect up with Neptune. But mostly, this period is dominated by a complex pattern consisting of Sun, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Saturn, Chiron, Uranus and Pluto -- pretty much the entire solar system. Besides the Quake on the 25th, the full moon / lunar eclipse on the 28th also breaks the 600 unit mark -- it should be a spectacular show. This storm is still going strong as we head into December...
