Energy Patterns for November 2001

Major Waveform Patterns:

Nov 1st to the 3rd -- more of the Halloween down time.
Nov 4th to the 9th -- the first big storm this month.
Nov 10th to the 15th -- a weak transition period.
Nov 16th to the 21st -- the big blast of the month.
Nov 22nd to the end of the month -- back in the doldrums.

An online ephemeris for the month is available.

November is a rather classic month of two planetary storms separated by weak transition periods. The storms are not overwhelming in intensity (low Koz Alerts) and only about 5 days long, plus the harmonics are easy, so I'm not expecting too dramatic of a time. It's just that the Jupiter-Saturn-Pluto backbone in these storms already has a big reputation since August. We're still learning to handle this energy. I see 5 main energy patterns this month.

Nov 1st to the 3rd

The 1st to the 3rd is a continuation of the lull that began on Halloween. The energy is turned down way low, roughly 350 to 400 units of strength. The harmonics are a disorganized H48 and a positive H12 -- the planets have yet to get organized. The waveform is very changeable from hour to hour (indicating a highly fluid situation), but the regions around 8 and 21 degrees of various zodiac signs are frequently involved. Don't let the weak appearance fool you -- there's a lot going on these few days. I just don't think we're quite ready to respond to it all right away. Rely on your gut level instincts instead of trying to sort it all out step-by-step -- good ideas need to come "out of the blue" right now. Get ready for a busier time coming up.

Nov 4th to the 9th

The 4th to the 9th is the first storm pattern. The waveform strengthens quickly into the 400-516 unit area -- events are catching a gusty tailwind. The harmonics are generally positive, but not always smooth. The tall H12 peaks are around 14 degrees of each zodiac sign, the mark of the giant -- see if this comes near any of your natal planets. This storm emerges when the Sun, Mercury and Venus all make contact with "the giant", so expect this energy to erupt in a very personal way. Mercury is the thinking mind, while Venus is the feelings, so you're sure to notice this energy. It may be difficult to get much done, since Neptune is dulling our Mars abilities to act. Despite the problem areas, this is still a very constructive time, so make the most of it.

Nov 10th to the 15th

The 10th to the 15th is the next transition time between storms. This waveform is particularly chaotic, noisy and ill-formed, indicating the storm completely falls apart as an influence on us. The strength of this graph is only 350 to 400 units most of the time (although it gathers steam as we approach the next storm), nothing to write home about. The harmonics are a mix of H48, H24, H12, with the more scattered and discordant frequencies predominating. There are a wide variety of degrees emphasized for a few hours at a time, which essentially means no focus at all. Normally, I'd say to kick back and take it easy. But with Mars beginning to wake up, you may actually feel like rolling up your sleeves and puttering around. Look for unusual surprises if things have fallen into a rut -- there's more than a few "aha!'s" waiting out there. Activity is most favored after the new moon on the 15th.

Nov 16th to the 21st

Another storm kicks in during the 16th to the 21st. The waveform takes off again (400 to 533 units), producing a whirlwind of activity. The harmonics are a familiar blend of H12 and H48, still pretty upbeat. The peaks are intense and focused, with an emphasis around 13-14 degrees of each sign. Mercury, Venus and Mars are tickling the giant this time around, so the energy may be feistier than the first storm. There's more of a feeling of impatience to do something or figure things out. Just be a little careful about crossing swords with other people -- a bit of diplomacy will save you a lot of trouble. Look for some fresh ideas to solve your problems, as it's pretty obvious now the old ideas aren't going to change things. Above all, put this time to good use!

Nov 22nd to the end of the month

The 22nd to the end of the month is yet another weak transition time. It's as though the bottom fell out of this energy, with the waveform dipping as low as 318 at times and rarely topping 400 -- there is no "oomph" here at all! The harmonics are an odd mixture, really scattered and hard to focus, though you may not really care much at this point. This mess shows mild emphases at 13-17, 3-7 and 22 degrees, but don't hold your breath. The preceding storm takes until the 25th to fully dissipate, but when it goes, there's nothing left. There is a notable chaotic streak, especially in romantic relationships, which can be fun if you remain light-hearted about it. Things start to pick up by the second full moon of the month on the 30th as we head into December.
