On first glancing at the A5 Spectrum for March, there's a significant planetary storm the last week of the month, and a series of weak, chaotic waveforms the rest of the time. These weaker waveforms are quite changeable and hard to categorize -- it will likely feel like one long, drifting, aimless period with little "oomph" or direction. The harmonics during this long period are typical of transition times between storms, which are usually brief, making it hard to get anything done or to feel energetic and alive. I've provisionally divided these 3 weeks into 4 separate periods, though I suspect it will be hard to tell the difference between them.

The 1st to the 6th is a continuation of the weak storm pattern at the end of February, with the emphasis more on "weak" than "storm". The waveform bops around in the 350 to 420 unit range most of the time -- the planets are more background noise than strong signal. The harmonics are chaotic and disorganized, but somewhat pleasant in a mindless sort of way. There is some focussing of energies at 16 and 6 degrees of each zodiac sign -- check out where this hits your birthchart. In a nutshell, this is a fractured and scattered time astrologically. There's little support for our actions now, so keep your plans modest. It's a good time to relax and recharge your batteries, since activity is likely to produce low-level stress that is draining in the long run. If you seem plagued by dimly understood problems around the 5th or 6th, look within to see if you're contributing to the situation.

The 7th to the 11th is a funny looking transition period, very weak and distorted in appearance. The waveform barely has a pulse now, with no energy to speak of. The harmonics are a messy looking H6, some H36, and lots of chaotic noise -- somewhat agreeable, if only there was any energy here. There may be a moody quality to this time, due to the Venus station and the full moon, that will affect your mental outlook. Use these quirky little insights to your advantage. Otherwise, lie low still. The world is distracting and disorganized, making it difficult to focus on any task for any length of time.

The 12th to the 15th would normally pass for a run of the mill transition time, but it more resembles a mini-storm in the current context. The waveform strengthens abit, hitting the 350 to 460 range. There's a complex harmonic picture going on now -- the difficult, irritating tendencies are more prominent. The biggest spike of energy is around 25 degrees of each zodiac sign. Given that the energies appear more organized than they've been for a long time, this looks like a good time to get some work done. If you keep in mind that disruptions and snafus are still the order of the day and make allowances for them, you can probably get things done for a change. Stay relaxed and down to earth, practicing patience with the people around you -- emotions are apt to be heated at times.

The 16th to the 24th is another "beyond disorganized" time, more of a long sideways drifting maneuver than a distinct energy pattern. The waveform is generally weak, though it occasionally shows a spark of activity. The harmonics are all noise frequencies, H36, H24 and H48. There is some emphasis at 16 and 28 degrees, but not much. This period never gets it's act together, so keep your expectations low. It could be a challenging time for relationships in general, with Pluto standing still and contacting Venus and Mars. Watch your temper and take a second look at everything before flying off the handle. Powerful, ego-centric tendencies are being stirred up these days, causing people to get a little short with each other, especially between the 17th and the 19th. A bit of detachment from the fray goes a long way.

Finally, the 25th to the end of the month is the only real planetary storm all month. The waveform starts out slow (360 units) but climbs to a potent Koz Alert (546 units) on the 29th. The harmonics are helpful and upbeat, but there's a rough edge to them, as well. The main peaks are at 9 and 23 degrees. At last, some "oomph" to work with! The planets in this pattern (Sun, Venus, Jupiter, Neptune) are all relatively easy-going and supportive, so this may be the most constructive time all month. Get ready for this period ahead of time and prepare to take advantage of it. Your mood should be optimistic and enthusiastic. This positive mood continues into early April.
