Sep 1st to the 3rd -- the end of the August storms.
Sep 4th to the 8th -- things are falling apart.
Sep 9th to the 12th -- the storms come back briefly.
Sep 13th to the 18th -- and drift off again.
Sep 19th to the 30th -- completely out of steam.
An online ephemeris for the month is available. Check Current Transits, too.
There is no typical "storms and transitions" behavior in the waveform this month. Most of the time, the energies are weak and disorganized, changing rapidly from one harmonic pattern to another. All this makes life aimless and distracting, as if we are jerked one way and then another endlessly. Given the general Pluto energy that wants to break down matters that no longer apply, there's not much stability or focus in September. I see 5 main energy patterns here, based mainly on harmonic shifts, not strength levels, but the overall picture is probably more fractured than this. The differences probably aren't that noticeable anyway, so take all this with a grain of salt.
Sep 1st to the 3rd |
The 1st to the 3rd is the tail end of all that action we saw in late August, rapidly fading away. The waveform varies in strength from 336 to 425 units -- quite weak to almost moderate levels. The harmonics are a mixture of H24, H12 and H48 -- somewhat stressful and heading towards annoying. The energies are most focused at 9-11 and 26 degrees of each zodiac sign -- check where this hits your own chart. The basic pattern this period (and much of the next) starts out with a lovely, cheery combo of Sun, Venus and Jupiter, enough to make anybody smile. However, this trio is focusing their attention on Pluto, the Dark Lord, already slowing down to his direct station later this month. This is a time when the energies are waning, so there's a contractive feeling in the air, quite at odds with Jupiter's normal expansive influence. Perhaps we are simply becoming accustomed to all the change and chaos in our lives. Stay upbeat amid all the shifts.
Sep 4th to the 8th |
The 4th to the 8th looks like even this small amount of action is falling apart. The waveform is in the 302 to 433 unit range -- it barely has a pulse these days. The harmonics consist of H48, a fat and ragged H12 and some noise frequencies I can't identify -- the world is chaotic and distracting. The areas of emphasis are 10-12, 16 and 5 degrees of each sign. The just mentioned Jupiter-Sun-Venus-Pluto pattern seems to peak in influence around the 4th or 5th. On the 4th, the Moon goes over Pluto, so some of the deeper, darker influences are coming through on an emotional wavelength. The 5th is the first "big aspect" of the month, a Jupiter-Pluto quincunx. Watch your temper as Mars octiles Pluto on the 7th. As we approach the full moon on the 8th, the Sun and Venus shift their attention to Uranus and Chiron, so a more crazy-upbeat mood starts to check in. Life is full of surprises, so you might as well enjoy them.
Sep 9th to the 12th |
The 9th to the 12th appears more focused or directed, and it happens to be the most powerful period this month. The waveform is in the 364 to 490 unit region, more life and punch than any time in September. The harmonics are H12, H48 and noise -- the more constructive frequencies are making a comeback. The emphasis is at 11-13, 16 and 3 degrees. The underlying pattern behind this waveform is complex and hard to pin down. The main planets are Mercury, Mars, Jupiter and Pluto, with Chiron, Uranus and possibly Saturn on the fringes. It peaks on the 10th, just before the Moon passes over Uranus. The emotions are much less prominent now. Many of these planets have a strong mental influence, so new ideas may be popping into your awareness or old ideas that have exceeded their sell-by-date may be challenged. Mars makes you want to get off your behind and do something -- anything -- but I'd hold off unless your battle plans are pretty mature. Given how fleeting this period is, there's no time for big plans anyway.
Sep 13th to the 18th |
The 13th to the 18th is almost a planetary storm some of the time. The waveform is low to moderate intensity once more, 317 to 435 units. The harmonics are a familiar mix of H12, H48 and H24 -- jittery, but the constructive vibes still dominate. The peak areas are 16-19, 11-13 and 1 degrees. Venus and Jupiter are the main trigger planets these days, although they appear to be straddling the space between Pluto and Chiron-Uranus in this loose, backboneless storm. Mercury is opposite Uranus and Mars is also in the picture, though both of these are moving out of the way shortly. The high point of this crazy pattern is on the 17th, with the Moon opposite Pluto, forming a brief Grand Cross. This is an unstable time, so it's a bit hard to read. You need to rely on intuition some to back up your thinking mind, but be careful as darker feelings can cloud your vision.
Sep 19th to the 30th |
Finally, the 19th to the end of the month is best thought of as a long and very weak transition period with occasional brief bursts of energy. The waveform varies from 287 to 415 units -- anemic and practically on life support! The harmonics are your typical scattered H48, H12 and H24. The areas at 12-16, 0-4, 20 and 28 degrees of each sign stand out somewhat. This last period seems like a grab bag of miscellaneous items without a central theme to tie them together. There's the Pluto station on the 22nd, just before the fall equinox, that shakes life's foundations and shows you where you weak spots are (or rather, were). Jupiter aspects Chiron and Uranus around the new moon on the 24th, shaking things up and helping us break free of the past. Much of the activity now is rather inconsequential. I see few signs that the energies are picking up as we head into October, so get used to this sluggish influence.
In contrast to a towering Koz Alert, this waveform is nearly lifeless. It's pretty rare for the energies to get this scattered and powerless. It only happens when there's not much happening in the sky and the planets are making hardly any connections with each other. There's no planetary "oomph!" behind us, no support for our efforts. We're drifting on our own power this week. The rest of the week isn't quite this wimpy, but I'd still not start any new projects when there's no tailwind. Hopefully things will pick up when we get into October...
