May 1st to the 9th -- a noisy lead up to the main show.
May 10th to the 25th -- one long, powerful storm!
May 26th to the end of the month -- falling apart again.
An online ephemeris for the month is available.
Watch the Pack this month! That's the blob of planets piled on top of each other in Aries and Taurus in all the graphs. As the fast moving planets Mercury, Venus and Mars plow through the zodiac in close formation (roughly a 10 degree spread), they gang up on the outer planets in the background one after another. The major storm at the middle of the month resembles more the repeated ringing of a bell instead of one quick blast of energy. Notice the noisy harmonics in the waveforms such as H48, the signature that the planets are not cooperating closely. There are a lot of mixed messages and loose threads in the sky. I see 3 major energy patterns in May.
May 1st to the 9th |
The 1st to the 9th is a weak, noisy period leading up to the storm. The waveform varies in strength from 315 to 456 units of strength -- weak to moderate intensity levels. The harmonics include H48, a fat H12 and a trace of H24 -- a static-y, disorganized influence that is hard to utilize. The energies are scattered widely, with 22-24, 15-17, 12 and 0-4 degrees of each zodiac sign receiving minor emphasis. The Pack is hitting Neptune by an octile aspect early on. The Pack planets deal with everyday kinds of awareness, while Neptune is more dreamy and unconscious, so this octile may dull your awareness and make your mind work more slowly and in a fog. Since Mercury is just coming out of its recent retrograde cycle and still isn't up to speed yet, this fogginess may be quite prominent. There's a very loose Grand Cross on the 7th, with Saturn (barely) opposite Uranus and the Moon opposite Pluto. I doubt it will be an overwhelming influence on us, but the day should be one of minor setbacks and irritations. Otherwise, there's not much "oomph!" to this period -- you may want to just sleep through it. I certainly wouldn't start anything big until after the new moon early on the 3rd.
May 10th to the 25th |
The 10th to the 25th is the big, long storm that dominates the month. The waveform intensifies to the 348 to 552 unit levels, deep into the Koz Alert region. The harmonics consist of a fat H12, H48 and some occasional H6 -- more constructive energies overall, but with an underlying feeling of scatteredness. Due to the motion of the Pack, the major peaks in the waveform drift from 27 degrees of each sign early on, across the cusps (boundaries) between signs and all the way to about 11 degrees by the end of the storm. It's almost like watching a parade go by. The Grand Cross is still active until the 13th, as the Sun kicks Uranus and Pluto into gear. Mercury and Venus both pile into Taurus on the 15th and the Pack starts hitting Neptune right away; Mars is affecting Uranus. If you are comfortable with outer planet influences, what are often considered higher states of consciousness, this should be a constructive and uplifting time. As for the mass mind, which usually operates on a lower level, the results are more irritation and confusion, perhaps being taken in by a viral story that is totally misleading. The mood shifts to a somewhat darker and more determined attitude around the 18th, as the Pack drops Neptune and concentrates on Uranus and Pluto. Watch your emotions during this time, as they reveal parts of yourself that you normally overlook. By the 23rd, most of the attention is on Saturn. Time to come back down to earth, put your dreams and inspirations into action, show some tangible results. With the storm starting to wane already, you don't have much time to consolidate your gains. I suspect you'll run into some "gotchas!" at this point where you get tripped up by practical considerations. Do what you can.
May 26th to the end of the month |
The 26th to the end of the month is the demise of the storm. The waveform is in the 323 to 397 unit range -- no "oomph!" again, what a let down! The harmonics are H48, that fat H12 and some H4 -- life is more stressful and disorganized, again. The peaks emphasize 27-2, 7-12 and 17-20 degrees of each sign, a little bit for everybody. There's not much in the way of a dominant energy these days. Uranus and Pluto seem to stand out slightly, adding to the sense of discord and breakdown that accompanies the passing of a storm. It's time for the Memorial Day vacation, so lowered expectations may be in order. The waveforms show no sign of picking up as we head into June, but the solar eclipse on Jun 1 will stir things up on its own. The coming month is not quite so brain-dead as May.
