Mar 1st to the 4th -- a weak, scattered storm-wannabe.
Mar 5th to the 10th -- weak, volatile noise.
Mar 11th to the 14th -- sort of a storm.
Mar 15th to the 19th -- organized but stressful mini-storm.
Mar 20th to the 24th -- cooling off to a transition period.
Mar 25th to the end of the month -- as strong as it gets.
An online ephemeris for the month is available.
The overall waveform picture in March is weak and chaotic looking. Without a trained eye, it looks like 4 weeks of transition period energies for the most part. There aren't any significant and obvious storms to break the monotony -- it took me a long time to even see any differences in the basic patterns. Most of what distinguishes one period from the next is a change in the harmonics every few days. Such shifts are subtle and often below the radar for most people, so don't expect any big mood changes during the month. The boundaries from one period to another are hard to pin down, so the dates I've listed may be a few days different for you. With all those ifs, ands and buts behind us, I think there are 6 basic energy patterns to consider in March.
Mar 1st to the 4th |
The 1st to the 4th is a mild pattern with some structure, a storm-wannabe. The waveform varies in strength from 348 to 457 units of strength, weak to moderate impact. The harmonics include H12, H48 and some H2 -- somewhat positive, but rather static-y. The peak areas in these graphs are at 29-30 degrees of each zodiac sign (right at the end of each sign), as well as 15 and 7 degrees. Check your birth chart to see where this hits you. This may be one of the few times all month I talk about the old outer planet storm pattern. Venus makes a brief fan-shaped pattern with the remnants of the storm, mostly Neptune, Chiron and Uranus by now. Emotions may be jittery and on edge now, as people try to adjust (often unsuccessfully) to rapidly changing and sometimes overwhelming situations. The 3rd may be especially moody, as the Moon goes over Neptune and Chiron, heading into watery Pisces . We're at the end of a lunar month, so I'd probably wait until after the new moon on the 4th before starting any new projects.
Mar 5th to the 10th |
The 5th to the 10th is noise for the most part, although the waveform is pretty volatile when it comes to harmonics during this period. The intensity values range from 327 to 470 units -- weak to moderate again and strongest around the 8th. The harmonics consist of H48, H12 and H2, a more jittery and unstable mix than last week. The energy is most focused at 28-30, 6-10 and 15 degrees of each sign. There's not much going on these days. Mercury is going over Uranus on the 9th, another last gasp of the outer planet storm. Thought processes may be in overdrive -- jot down some notes when you have an "aha!" moment, before the inspiration fades away. Otherwise, there's not much planetary support for much of your efforts and distractions may keep you from making headway. Lowered expectations may be in order.
Mar 11th to the 14th |
The 11th to the 14th is a weak storm, if you're generous about it. The waveform is in the 323 to 426 unit region -- weak indeed! Harmonics are mainly H12, H48 and H6 -- the energies are somewhat more constructive. Most of the action is concentrated at 13-16 and 28-30 degrees. Venus and Mars are kicking off a configuration based on Jupiter, Saturn and Neptune. That's a pretty odd assortment of personal, social and spiritual influences that don't all work well together, so put a little extra effort into how you interact with others. The big news this period is when Uranus moves into Aries on the 11th -- this placement alone is a major mood changer. Prepare yourself for a faster pace and more intense circumstances as this hectic placement checks in.
Mar 15th to the 19th |
The 15th to the 19th is another weak storm pattern. The waveform varies in strength from 344 to 479 on the 19th, around the time of the full moon. The harmonics are H24, H48 and H2 -- stressful and static-y. The most potent areas are 28-30 and 13-17 degrees. Mercury is going over the Jupiter end of that pattern with Saturn and Neptune, giving a more mental outlook on this complex configuration. Maintaining a positive attitude can minimize the more difficult qualities of this period.
Mar 20th to the 24th |
The 20th to the 24th is more of a noisy transition period, again. The waveform cools off to the 340 to 443 unit range -- much less "oomph!" behind us now. The harmonics are mostly H48 and H2 -- energies are scattered and without coherent direction. The peaks are across the sign cusps, roughly 29 to 1 degrees, as well as 13-17 degrees. Things fall apart after the full moon on the 19th. The Sun goes over Uranus shortly after entering Aries at the equinox, which should really unleash Uranus' unpredictable energies for a few days. Get ready for some craziness! Hopefully, the trioctile of Saturn and Neptune on the 24th might ground some of this influence a bit. It's probably hard to get much done, so take on the basics and leave the optional chores for another time.
Mar 25th to the end of the month |
Finally, the 25th to the end of the month is another mild storm. The intensity levels are in the 379 to 493 unit region, the most powerful waveforms all month. The harmonics include H48, H4 and H8, all challenging and unreasonable frequencies. The focal areas are 29-30 and 11-13 degrees. Venus is going over Neptune on the 26th, kicking the Jupiter-Saturn-Neptune group into action again. This is a very emotional contact again, but you have to be very clear about the underlying issues so you don't jump to false conclusions. The harmonics are mostly difficult ones, indicative of the harsher aspects in this pattern. This is also the most intense period this month, so the problem areas may seem more acute than usual. This energy is already wearing thin as we head into April.
