The big storm continues, giving us two long and powerful storm periods in August, both of them repeatedly hitting the Koz Quake level of 600 units or more. They are separated by a waveform that is more weak storm than a transition period, but we'll take any down time that we can get, I suppose. It's not until the 29th that the T-square finally shows signs of breaking up -- a weak and chaotic waveform has never looked so good! In short, plenty of action, little catching our breath. I see 4 main energy patterns this month.

The 1st to the 13th is a huge planetary storm. The waveform ranges from a weak 403 units (as the waveform is winding down) to an astounding 652 units (off the top of the graph!) -- we're being buffeted by one powerful wave! The harmonics consist of H4, H24 and H12 -- somewhat difficult and challenging vibrations. The energies are mainly focused across the boundaries from one zodiac sign to the next, roughly 28 degrees of one sign to 2 degrees of the next one, with secondary peaks around 16 degrees. Look to your own birthchart to see what areas of your life are being affected by these energy peaks. As has been the case for months, the outer planet T-square is always in the background of these storms. It's a question of which of the faster moving planets are triggering them into action. Early in this period, the trigger planet is mostly Mars, but in the second half Venus and the Sun take center stage. The Mars influence is the more troublesome, especially on the 3rd when a Mars-Jupiter-Pluto T-square is going off. Watch your temper and stay out of trouble -- things could spiral out of control quickly if you let your guard down. There are several days straight of Koz Quake activity, so don't underestimate the sheer strength of this amazing storm pattern.
For those of you who may have gotten a bit jaded by all the Quakes this summer -- here's a waveform to jolt your complacency. At a strength of 652 units, this waveform is not only the strongest blow all summer, since all this outer planet T-square business began, it literally is taller than the graph can show. In a summer of superlatives, this Quake is the king of them all. Besides the outer planets and their distinctive T-square, this pattern also includes the Moon (making it a Grand Cross), Sun, Venus and Mars -- every planet except Mercury. It's hard to get a larger, more tightly focused group of planets than this one. No wonder the waveform is so strong! We'll be seeing a lot of this kind of Quake action the next few days -- get ready for a roller coaster ride!

The 14th to the 21st is a weak storm masquerading as a transition period. The waveform varies from 365 to 470 units in strength, a remarkable drop in intensity in only a few days. The harmonics are a mixture of H4, H12, H8, H24, H6 and H48 -- a complex and confused mix that probably tends to the difficult side. The energies are concentrated at 0-6, 25-28 and 12 degrees of each zodiac sign. There's not much going on these days, though the faster planets seem to be stimulating Neptune. The Mercury station on the 20th may cause your brain to shut down. The main attraction is the Saturn-Pluto square on the 21st, quite a rough and intense aspect. Take some time to get your bearings, if you can.

The 22nd to the 28th is another blast from the outer planets. The waveform ranges from 465 to 613 units -- we're back in the pressure cooker again! The harmonics include H12, H24 and H6 -- somewhat more positive than usual, but it has its tough moments, too. The energies are focused at 0-3 and 18 degrees of each sign. One more week of Quakes to go as the Sun kicks the T-square into action one more time. The energy peaks at the full moon on the 24th, indicating a crucial high point of the lunar month. Despite the fact that there's no big news this week in a more conventional sense, don't assume life is easy. Quake times are never simple.

Finally, the 29th to the end of the month shows the storm falling apart at last. The waveform varies in strength from 386 to 542 units -- considerably calmer and quieter, most of the time. The harmonics are mostly H24, H48, H4 and some noise -- all on the difficult side. The areas of emphasis are 1-2 and 18-20 degrees. There's nothing much going on for a change. It's like someone let all the air out of the balloon -- we go from screaming intense to limping along overnight. Such a rapid change can feel disorienting in its own right, so be aware that a big shift is coming up. Unlike previous months, this quietude is genuine. I don't see further buildups in the immediate future, except for some brief aftershocks. Take a deep breath...
Compared to the full moon chart, this waveform looks like the storm blew a tire or something. It just looks weaker and more disorganized than anything we've seen in months. Never has a wimpy graph looked so inviting! Congratulate yourself -- you survived the last 4 months of craziness. Except for some brief Koz Alerts in coming months, I don't see anything like what we've been through on the horizon. That's probably the best news you've heard in quite some time. Take a deep breath, relax a little. You deserve some time to recoup.
