Jun 1st to the 15th -- the start of one long, potent storm.
Jun 16th to the 28th -- less focused, but still off the dial.
Jun 29th to the end of the month -- the first break in the action all month.
An online ephemeris for the month is available.
I can't recall seeing a month like June that is all storm, no transitions for quite some time. A quick glance through the waveform graphs for the month is nearly an unbroken stream of one Koz Alert after another, with hardly a break in the action. At least Uranus is one of the easier outer planets to handle, much less trouble than say Pluto, but too much of a good thing is still too much. (Of course, with the Uranus-Pluto square coming up in a few years and already showing up on the radar screen, we can't avoid Pluto either.) On closer inspection, there are some subtle shifts in the waveform patterns here and there, but I doubt such minor changes will be all that noticeable, compared to the raging storms going on all the time. I'd break down the month into 3 separate patterns.
Jun 1st to the 15th |
The 1st to the 15th is part one of the big June storm, a crisp, highly focused and very powerful planetary pattern. The waveform varies in strength from 449 units to a Koz Quake of 608 units on the 10th -- roughly moderate energy to off the dial. The harmonics these days include H6, H12, H24, H4 and a touch of H48 -- a complex mixture that is potentially quite useful, but difficult to tame and harness properly. The tall peaks in these graphs indicate the energies are mostly focused in the region from 28 degrees of one zodiac sign to about 2 degrees of the next sign. If you have any natal planets in your chart near the sign cusps like this, you're more vulnerable to these intense energies than most people will be. The planetary pattern behind all these potent waveforms is a very complex picture, mostly consisting of the outer planets. As mentioned, Saturn is opposite Jupiter and Uranus. Even though the aspects aren't very tight (yet!), Pluto makes this a wide T-square -- and a very potent, emotionally charged and hard to channel T-square at that. Neptune and Chiron fit into the picture as well. Need I say it, but that's all the outer planets in one big pattern. Throw in a few faster moving planets (the ones we can most easily work with) and you get a pretty big storm -- for now, this includes Mercury and Mars. When the Moon goes over Jupiter and Uranus on the 6th, just before Jupiter moves into Aries, is one of the many Alerts during this time. The Koz Quake on the 10th is the most powerful of these peak times. This is one of those strange times when "the doors to the unconscious" are thrown open and people are being buffeted by powerful emotions and instincts that defy our understanding. Frankly, people are a little crazy and worked up to a frenzy. Some people can handle the stress better than others, but few can claim to surf these energies well. Learn to slow down, give things a second look before jumping to conclusions, don't let feelings overwhelm clear thinking, take a good deep breath now and then. After weeks and weeks of this, it's hard to remain calm.
Jun 16th to the 28th |
The 16th to the 28th is still strong, but a bit less focused, and seems to be centered more on the T-square than the first period. The energy levels of this waveform are all over the place, from a weak 420 units to a blistering 622 Quake on the 25th. The harmonics are mostly H4, H12, H8, H24 and H48 -- more difficult and contentious than before. The emphasized areas are in the 29-2 degree region (across the sign cusps) once more. With the Sun coming up to an opposition to Pluto (exact on the 25th), the T-square becomes a Grand Cross, an even bigger symbol of stress and tension in our lives. Mercury is close behind the Sun and adds his two cents to the Cross as well. After the 25th, Venus is also in this picture. It's one thing when someone challenges your ideas (Mercury), but people also feel like they are being personally attacked (Sun) as well. There's an anger and defensiveness in the air, based on a feeling (real or imagined) of powerlessness and not feeling listened to. Relationships can feel very touchy and on edge. It's even more important to slow down now and give others the benefit of the doubt. Perceived problems often have little to do with the real underlying issues. Patience is a valuable tool these days.
Shortly before the full moon, the big blast of the month happens. With the Moon between Ceres and Pluto, about to enter Capricorn, the Grand Cross energies are in high gear. This easily surpasses the Quake of May 18, the previous record holder for 2010. We're in for a few days of wild, overwhelming influences, so hang on to your hat! Quakes like this are rare and we should be grateful for that. But if you can actually harness this power, who knows what you can accomplish.
Jun 29th to the end of the month |
The 29th to the end of the month is the first real break we'll be getting all month. The waveform cools off quickly, down to 412 to 495 unit levels. The harmonics consist of H4, a fat H12, H48 and H24 -- still on the rough side mostly. The cusp areas (28-2 degrees) are where the action is. The faster moving planets are moving ahead of the slower, outer planets, tearing the storm pattern apart. Essentially our personal lives and forces of the deep unconscious are out of touch right now. That's a relief for the short term, but such a clear cut "split" in the psyche always sets us up for more blasts later on. Venus is the "release valve" for a few days, so the way we are influenced by feelings, instincts and our emotional connections to others is our main mirror to what's happening below the surface. Mostly however, take some time to relax and unwind. It's not healthy to go 90 MPH all the time. We need this break. This pattern continues into early July...
