Jun 1st to the 7th -- a rather nasty storm from the end of May.
Jun 8th to the 14th -- a strong, but screwy transition time.
Jun 15th to the 17th -- a little blip of power.
Jun 18th to the 22nd -- transition energies on life support.
Jun 23rd to the end of the month -- the big blow of June.
An online ephemeris for the month is available.
The distinction between storms and transitions is pretty blurry in June. The normal hints, such as changes in strength or harmonics, are rather ambiguous. There seem to be 5 separate energy patterns in the waveform, but it's tough to say for certain when the shifts occur. Granted there are a couple of Koz Alerts (when the waveform breaks the 500 units of strength level) that push the world into overdrive, but they are the exception, not the rule this month. Get ready for one long month.
Jun 1st to the 7th |
The 1st to the 7th is a rather uneven storm pattern that continues the storm from the last days of May. The strength of the waveform varies widely from 319 to 517 units, roughly from barely moving to whipped into a low frenzy. The harmonics in the waveform include H24, H8, H4, H12 and H6 -- mostly stressful and conflicted, though with some of the rougher edges sanded off. A large number of zodiac degrees are emphasized at one time or another: 23-25, 8-10 and 15-18 degrees of each zodiac sign. The high point of this late May, early June storm is around noon on the 1st, coincident with the low Koz Alert. Most of the time, the energy levels are more tolerable. However, the cast of characters now is quite formidable. The aspects (squares and octiles are common) are difficult and the active planets (such as Mars, Saturn, Uranus, Pluto) are known trouble makers, so there's an edginess and harshness to life these days. Be especially careful between the 2nd and 4th, as Mars squares Pluto (a proverbial "stay out of dark alleys" aspect) and trines Saturn (only a bit easier). This is a good time for wrapping up old projects and clearing the deck for new tasks after the new moon on the 6th. Take it slow and easy -- there's enough stress in the air already.
Jun 8th to the 14th |
The 8th to the 14th is a transition period between storms in name only. The waveform is only marginally weaker than the previous storm, between 317 and 433 units. The harmonics are a little noisier and disorganized, consisting of H24, H48, H6 and H12 -- a mixed bag of easy and challenging frequencies. Most of the energy in this waveform is in the 7-10 and 23-26 degree regions of each sign. Except for the period from the 10th to the 11th, this is a weak and disorderly time. If anything, I'd expect this pattern to be more easy going than the storm, if only because the planets involved (Venus,Jupiter, Uranus) are mostly pleasant and upbeat. Oh, it has its big aspects to haunt us (like Saturn trioctile Uranus on the 11th and Sun opposite Pluto on the 13th), and Uranus' retrograde station on the 14th might make life screwier than usual, but the period is low key overall. You should feel an upturn in your physical energy levels after the 11th, when Mars moves into Aries. Don't let your physical reserves get too depleted in the meantime.
Jun 15th to the 17th |
The 15th to the 17th is a very brief storm, more a blip of energy, to be precise. The energies are still quite low to moderate, namely 297 to 444 units. The harmonics are more organized and effective just now, mostly H24, H12 and H48, but still stressful. Areas of emphasis include 9-11 and 24-27 degrees. For a few days in the middle of all this transition energy, there's a little blip of action as the waveform coalesces around a 24th harmonic. Granted, the 24th is rarely much fun since it can be so irritating, but the planets involved are generally smooth, so I wouldn't worry much about this time. There's a marked mental-intuitive flavor to the vibes just now, so some planning work may be quite fruitful now. Look at the big picture and remain open to inspiration as it comes.
Much of the middle two weeks of June are essentially transition period stuff, weak and lifeless. However, between the 15th and 17th, there's a quick storm in miniature. With the Moon going over Jupiter today, this influence can't be all bad. In fact, with Mercury, Venus and Uranus joining in, this is a pretty lively and fun energy. The Sun is simultaneously revving up Saturn and Pluto, which are bedeviling us from last May still. Make good use of this burst of activity or at least have some fun with it. It doesn't last very long.
Jun 18th to the 22nd |
Between the 18th and 22nd, we head back into transition period energy. The waveform is nearly comatose at times, ranging from 289 to 421 units, which isn't really that much weaker than the preceding energy blip actually. The harmonics are mostly H48 and H24, scattered, chaotic and draining. A number of regions are in the spotlight at various times, mostly 9-11, 20-24 and 15-19 degrees (doesn't leave much out). On paper, this isn't much to consider -- you might as well go on vacation. However, Pluto is seemingly waking up, particularly as a loose Yod pattern forms between the 22nd and the 25th. Step back from your activities and dig a little deeper into the problems than you normally would. There's a better way to approach things, if you just get out of your own way. The 21st is a powerful day, between the summer solstice and the full moon -- a good day for ritual. Get away from the everyday hussle and tune into the more subtle influences around us.
This lifeless little waveform is practically as weak (289 units) as I've ever observed. The record low strength I've seen is 288 units; I can't recall the exact date. The sky is about as disorganized and scrambled up as you can get, so there is no consistent energy being projected here, no "oomph" to back up our actions. I'd use this transition period the next few days to rest up and recharge, though that may not be possible for everyone. It's rather hopeless to put out much effort under energies like this. Save your efforts for the coming storm, after the waveform gets off life support.
Jun 23rd to the end of the month |
Finally, the 23rd to the end of the month is the most potent storm pattern of the entire month. The waveform shows some "oomph!" again finally, ranging from 389 to 546 units (a potent Alert) on the 26th. The harmonics (H24, H6, H48, H12) are somewhat more positive than we've seen the rest of June. The focal points are 9-11 and 23-25 degrees of each sign. Mercury and Venus are coming together in the last degree of Cancer on the 27th, so these two planets are making nearly simultaneous contacts to a number of other bodies, including Pluto, Uranus and especially Saturn (which they conjunct on the 25th and 26th). Jupiter is also in the picture (via a quintile to Mercury and Venus) and is often the strongest planet in the sky right now. This is a highly active and influential period, but it seems to have a more positive tone than anything we've experienced so far. It's also apt to affect us on a deeply personal level -- nothing pie-in-the-sky or theoretical about this stuff! You're going to be busy, but it's also some of the most productive times all month. Get ready for this tailwind and get the most out of it. By the time we head into July, this storm is dissipating.
