Energy Patterns for July 2000

Major Waveform Patterns:

Jul 1st to the 8th -- a mild storm to start the month.
Jul 9th to the 15th -- time to take a breather.
Jul 16th to the 21st -- another mild storm.
Jul 22nd to the end of the month -- scattered and drifting.

An online ephemeris for the month is available.

The A5 Spectrum is not an extremely useful tool this month, since July appears to be one long spell of low-key, disorganized waveforms. There are a few minor fluctuations in the energies, but nothing as dramatic as the planetary storms we just came through. Actually, the waveforms are so changeable this month on a day to day basis, it's difficult to even categorize them into distinct patterns. So take the following descriptions lightly -- things are more volatile than I'm hinting at.

Jul 1st to the 8th

The 1st to the 8th is a quiet planetary storm. The intensity levels are roughly 380 to 450 units, nothing overwhelming by any means. The main harmonics in the waveform appear difficult and challenging. The taller peaks in these waveforms show that the energy is being focused at 15 and 28 degrees of each zodiac sign -- check whether these positions affect your own birthchart. However, this storm pattern starts out with quite a downbeat, a partial solar eclipse on the 1st. There's a note of tension or discord in the air, a feeling that something is not right. While some of the friction is between people (with Mars energy making people restless), a lot of it is actually internal, but unconscious. Due to the way the psyche reveals these unconscious issues, they can seem projected onto the outer world, especially other people. Watch out for what peeves you or makes you uncomfortable in others -- more than likely, the issue is within yourself. Be patient and work hard if you want to see results.

Jul 9th to the 16th

The 9th to the 15th is a weak transition time. The waveforms are considerably weaker -- nothing going on now! The harmonics are mostly H48 and H12 with some unintelligable "noise" -- scattered and distracting influences. Essentially, this is a time to lie low and recoup your energy. There's no planetary support going on for any of your activities, so do the minimum to get by and wait for a more favorable time before starting anything important. It's probably going to be more pleasant than difficult, given the strong influence of planets like Venus and Jupiter now -- just don't expect too much or rely on good luck to get you through.

Jul 16th to the 21st

The 16th to the 21st is another mild storm of sorts. The strength of this waveform is 350 to 430 units, a bit more "oomph" than before. The harmonics are more positive and helpful overall, but still rather unfocused. The main area of emphasis in the waveform is 5 to 7 degrees of each zodiac sign. Again, this period starts out with an eclipse, initiating yet more changes for us. This is apt to be some of the most useful energies all month, so be certain to make good use of it. Be aware, however, that Mercury is standing still on the 17th, causing your mental abilities to be sluggish or misdirected. It's probably not a good time to make major decisions or changes -- wait until Mercury gets up a head of steam in a week or two and the mental fog clears up. Emotional and aesthetic concerns are more in line with the influences going on now.

Jul 22nd to the end of the month

The 22nd to the end of the month has an unfocused, drifting feel to it. There's no overall theme or focal point now and the energies seem to shift frequently, even daily. The overall intensity levels are still moderate. The harmonics are mostly H48, H24 and what I call a "fat H6" (since the taller, 6th harmonic peaks in the waveform are fat and distorted in shape) -- scattered and stressful, but occasionally working out well. A number of zodiacal degrees are emphasized, including 6, 12 and 27 degrees of each sign. This is mostly a time to carry on with previous plans and maintain a moderate level of activity. It should feel like an upbeat, optimistic period (especially around the 26th and 27th), with a number of "feel good planets" very active now. The final eclipse is on the 30th, so this pattern should give us quite a bit of momentum as we head into August.
